JA Biztown Trip - January 23rd

Important Info

• Please make sure you child is on time for school on Wednesday! We will leave school promptly at 8:00 am and return around 4:30 pm.  Make sure you have made arrangements for your child to be picked up from RBE at 4:30!
• Your child will need to pack a sack lunch in a disposable bag for the day. Drinks are not needed, as they will be able to use their Biztown cash to buy drinks there.
• Students should wear business casual clothes appropriate for their BizTown business position. Comfortable shoes are important because students will be on their feet most of the day. 
• If you are a parent volunteer, thank you completing the online training. Volunteers should arrive at the JA Biztown Facility by 9:30 for orientation.

Fine Arts Info

On Wednesday, January 9th, 5th graders will be heading to RBHS for the Fine Arts Extravaganza.  Students will rotate through stations and learn about all the Fine Art electives available to them in middle school and high school. *Your child will need to pack a sack lunch from home or order one from the school cafeteria for this trip.

If you child is interested in joining band in middle school, please plan to attend ONE of the CPS Fine Arts Instrument Enrollment nights.  The dates and locations are listed on the flier below.  

JA Biztown

Just a reminder that our JA Biztown trip is January 23rd.  Our bus will leave school at 8:00 and return to school around 4:30.  Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up from school at 4:30 that day. *Your child will either need to pack a sack lunch from home or order a sack lunch from the school cafeteria.

*Biztown Parent Volunteers- I have sent your contact info to the coordinators at Biztown.  You can expect to receive an email with training information from them about a week before our trip.
